Celebrating Central Hall

The Central Hall is for music for theatre for meetings for communities for everyone

If we respect and celebrate our past, then we can create a never-ending story from which everyone benefits. Places need stories. New-build glassy offices and blocks of flats that aren’t connected to the history of the places where they are built don’t have stories. Stories are what makes a place unique.

Since starting my role here in September one of the main things I constantly hear is “I didn’t know this place existed” – How sad!

Central Hall is steeped in heritage and the walls have so many stories. Restoration of information and the building starts in the new year. How could you get involved?

We are looking for trades who wish to be part of a revival of the heritage of our building in the East Marsh area. As a charity organisation we are self funded and maintenance is a constant issue. If you can spare a couple of hours a week and your expertise, we need you. Please get in touch amy.fancourt@centralhallgrimsby.org

Thanks in advance.
